It’s time for the Last Stand Rodeo in Coulee City! One of the few places you can feel the ground vibrate and maybe get a little dirty as 2000‐pound bulls pound the earth only feet in front of you. Step back into the old west and join us in Coulee City celebrating 69 years of PRCA Last Stand Rodeos plus our Bullarama May 28, 29, and 30 – Memorial Day Weekend.

Starting off Friday night is the great hair‐raising; ground shaking Bullarama at 7 p.m. pitting cowboys against beasts along with the wild and wooly action of Mutton Bustin’ for children ages 3 to 8 years old, 60 pounds and under.

World Champion Trick Rider Haley Proctor, PRCA Specialty Act, performing here Saturday & Sunday!! Haley has thrilled crowds across the country. Kids can participate in the traditional stick horse race Saturday and Sunday.

Cowboy Breakfast Saturday morning starts at 7 o’clock at the Brick House (old school) next to the rodeo grounds. It’s always a delicious and friendly way to start off a rodeo weekend. At 8 a.m. the gun sounds for the start of the 34th Annual Cow Pie Jog, also at the Brick House. It’s 5K of jogging and watching your step – it’s called the Cow Pie Jog for a reason!

The family oriented, annual Last Stand Parade on Main Street starts at 11 a.m. It’s great entertainment for all and a fine time to see old friends or make some new ones.

Saturday’s rodeo performance will be held at 7 p.m with more bull riding, bareback riding, steer wrestling, team roping, barrel racing, saddle bronc riding, tiedown roping, girl’s breakaway roping, along with miniature bulls, great bullfighters and a rodeo clown.

Sunday Slack at the rodeo grounds starting at 8 a.m. Sunday evening at 5 o’clock you’ll have one last chance to put your boots on and enjoy the Last Stand Rodeo with all it’s events.

Be sure while at these performances you stop by the Cook Shack for some of the best ol’ cowboy grub or the beer garden to cool your thirst.

One of the oldest small rodeos of the PRCA, honored as Columbia River Circuit 2014 & 2019 SMALL RODEO OF THE YEAR, a 2017 & 2019 Top 5 Nominee for PRCA Small Rodeo Committee of the year, the Last Stand Rodeo attracts many of the top cowboys in the PRCA.  A remaining piece of Americana, the Coulee City Last Stand Rodeo is held at the historic Ted Rice Rodeo Arena, which gives spectators the chance to be up close and personal with the cowboys AND the rough stock.
